Recognition and Comparability of DPOs qualifications

The project develops a coherent and to the point, approach, that is going to include:

  • The establishment of an environment that will establish our joint DPO VET qualification in terms of transparency, comparability and recognition of those qualifications not only among the involved, participating countries but also at EU level. This is going to be achieved through the cooperation between partnership (including all relevant bodies to achieve this: Recognition and Accreditation Authorities, VET providers, Health Associations, covering all aspects towards NQF, EQF and EQAVET).
  • The provision of evidence on how specific skills’ needs will be matched with labour market needs in the countries/regions participating in the partnership.
  • Preparation of an open consultation process for awareness raising in participating countries, through activation of Chambers (AEKSH) and Health Associations (PEF, ARPS)

The above will be achieved through the conduction of the below activities/tasks:

  • Development of a sustainable recognition process on common values and qualifications that underpin “new data protection environment”
  • Designing a common approach methodology and development of a Quality Assurance Plan for the Curricula
  • Development of effective feedback loops to adapt VET provision

Our partnership designs a common approach methodology and a viable application of a quality assurance plan that leads to the development of a Certification Scheme for data protection providers and the preparation of a coherent guideline for licencing the Curricula. Proposal of a Certification Scheme, will provide a solid basis should other countries would like to proceed to the accreditation (each phase of the accreditation).

Results:

  • Preparation of an assessment standards documents
  • Methodology for Quality Assurance of DPO VET Curricula
  • Guidelines for licensing of a DPO VET Curriculum
  • Methodology for development of feedback loops to adapt VET provision
