
ACQUIN successfully held a Multiplier Event in Nürnberg on 13th September 2019
Akkreditierungs-, Certifizierungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-Institut – ACQUIN hosted a Multiplier Event in Nürnberg on the 13th September 2019 with the aim to present the first outcomes of the GDPR4H Project qualitative and quantitative research on what constitutes the “ideal Data Protection Officer” operating in the Healthcare industry.
During the event, the below aspects were discussed:
- How do healthcare professionals experience the situation after the introduction of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?
- What knowledge and skills do healthcare professionals need to comply with the guidelines?
- What is the current state of (further) education opportunities in the respective countries?
The participants were mainly professors from higher education institutions in Germany specializing in the Healthcare and IT sector (Hochschule Esslingen, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Georg-Simon-Ohm Fachhochschule Nürnberg, TU Darmstadt, Universität Ulm) and market representatives (DATEV eG).
Participants expressed their interest in European developments in the field of data protection for health Sector and pointed out, among others, the importance of on-the-job-training, blended learning with the use of case studies in the training of current and future DPOs.
